Here are a few recipes for some tasty smoothies to kick start your morning

Green Secret Smoothie

This is what I like to call it because when people hear the main ingredient I get a blech.

1/2 c Greek yogurt

1 c Milk (skim, whole, soy, almond it is up to you)

1 frozen banana (it's best to cut the banana in slices and freeze - easier to blend)

1 T peanut butter (you may omit if you would like)

Baby Spinach, enough to fill the blender

Splenda or honey or sugar - your preference for a tad bit more sweetness

Place the first ingredients in the blender and then fill the remainder of the blender with baby spinach.  Blend until smooth.

Enjoy

Yes, this has spinach however once blended with the other ingredients it is delicious.

Fruit and Oatmeal Blend

This is a little more fullfilling

1 c Ice

1/2 c of your favorite berry

1 banana

1/2 c of old fashioned oats

1 c of plain yogurt (I use Greek for the extra protein)

1 T honey

1 C of juice or your favorite liquid

Blend until smooth and drink up!

 Kick Start Smoothie

This is for the coffee lovers

2 c ice

1 c strong coffee cooled

2 t of sugar or splenda or however sweet you like it

1 c Milk (whichever you like)

1 T of vanilla or chocolate pudding mix (whichever you like better)

Blend together pour into a glass and enjoy

Pina Colada Smoothie

1/2 pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)

1/2 c Coconut Milk (I usually use Coco Loco)

1 T Shredded coconut (optional)

Feeling daring throw in some Cocunut rum.

Easy and quick way to start each day.
