It seems like it was just yesterday when I lived in a neighborhood that was missing something. It was missing something big. My daughter and I would discuss how great it would be to have a Chick-fil-A near our house.
To say that a lot of places in the Amarillo area are short staffed is an understatement. We see restaurants and fast food places almost begging for people to come apply. Since the pandemic hit a lot of people just don't want to work.
With the weather being what is was on Wednesday you know all that crazy snow? Remember that? Like a blink of an eye it was gone. That is the Texas Panhandle for you. Don’t like the weather here wait ten minutes and it is bound to change.

I am a fan of all things spicy. The spicier the better. Anytime I go out to eat I look for that option. Sometimes I know it is going to make my stomach hurt later on but I am OK with that. For that short time that I get to eat the spiciness I am in heaven
I am always a fan of free food. I even go out of my way to sign up for most places rewards programs so I can get even more of it. I may buy food from Jimmy Johns just in hopes of finding an extra reward for a free pickle. That just makes my day.
We all are getting in the Christmas spirit. We are making our lists and checking it twice. We are making sure we have our Christmas cards ready to go. There is so much that goes into this time of year. We have to buy gifts, wrap them, decorate the house, ship out presents for relatives out of town. …
If you live near the Chick-fi-A on Coulter and you noticed that last couple of days that they seem to be keeping different hours you are not alone. Yes, you can still get your favorite chicken at that location. You will just have to make your final purchases a little earlier in the day.
If I told you we as Amarilloan's were generous what would you think? We have seen it time and time again. It has especially been noticed during this year we call 2020. We have stepped up to help people. That is what being generous is all about.
