I feel like I spend a lot of time driving around Amarillo. There is the time I spend on I40 driving between work and home. A lot of time is spent in my hood as well. I am one of those that pay attention to my surroundings.
It seems every time you are craving Chick-fil-A, I know for some it is EVERY day, it ends up being a Sunday. The one day a week you know you can't get it. Or can you? There is a way you can actually get pretty darn close.

How many times do you crave something, I mean really want a certain kind of food, only to realize it is Sunday. You know that all of your hopes and dreams are crushed. I mean that seems to happen to me all the time when it comes to Chick-fil-A.
It seems like it was just yesterday when I lived in a neighborhood that was missing something. It was missing something big. My daughter and I would discuss how great it would be to have a Chick-fil-A near our house.
To say that a lot of places in the Amarillo area are short staffed is an understatement. We see restaurants and fast food places almost begging for people to come apply. Since the pandemic hit a lot of people just don't want to work.
With the weather being what is was on Wednesday you know all that crazy snow? Remember that? Like a blink of an eye it was gone. That is the Texas Panhandle for you. Don’t like the weather here wait ten minutes and it is bound to change.
