I play a few games here and there.  I always have a constant Word With Friends game going on with several people.  I play Matching with Friends.  I used to play a ton of games on facebook, Gardens of Time, Farmville, etc.  However, this one game has sucked me in.  It's like game crack. One time and you are hooked.  Candy Crush is my nemesis.

In an attempt to be more relevant, Hasbro recently revealed that it would be ousting one of its long-standing tokens from the classic board game Monopoly and replacing it with a new token of the internet's choosing. What is this world coming to when a classic board game is changing its iconic game pieces?  The Horror!  Monopoly will be retiring one of their iconic pieces very soon and introducing a new game piece.

One would think after the 'Battleship' debacle there'd be a reluctance to base movies on board games. Alas, Hasbro recently signed a deal with Universal to bring more games to the big screen, including (yes, this is real) 'Hungry Hungry Hippos.'

An arcade owner and operator in central California admitted, in an IAMA session on Reddit, that those addictive claw machines — wherein you endlessly attempt to grab a plush toy, fake sports jersey or other random goodie with a three-pronged claw that you maneuver via a control on the outside of the glass — are fixed!
