Market Street

United Supermarkets had a groundbreaking in September 2022 for the new Market Street with a fall opening date, but no construction has started. Did they change their minds?

This shortage has really got me a little upset. OK, let's be honest it has me a lot upset. My stomach, on the other hand, thanks those involved. I have had a little break from it tearing my stomach up. Oh, but I love it.

It's insurance season. It seems like we are all dealing with open enrollment. Even if we get insurance through our workplace they usually want us to do something online to select something.

Market Street is where I do all of my grocery shopping. So when I go in and they change something I tend to notice. The change that I noticed when I went in to do my shopping yesterday was noticed right away.

Great news for those who live in Southwest Amarillo near Loop 335, you will now have a closer place to shop for groceries and pick up your prescriptions.

OK, we have seen some weird things happen in our city in the past week or so. We hit record temperatures recently. It's not very often we see 108. Yes, it's July but still. We were all sweating it up.

I have always been a big fan of Market Street. That is where I do ALL of my shopping. I remember when it opened. I was thrilled to have a grocery store in my neighborhood again. I remember the days of Homeland being where the Dollar Tree is now.

This has been a crazy past few months. If you have a baby that is formula fed you probably have noticed the issues in the store. First, there was a formula shortage. We noticed it here in Amarillo.

You can never be too careful with your information. I mean you have to make sure all of your personal info is just where you can find it. I am talking about the important stuff that the bad guys can use to wreak havoc on your life.

It never seems to fail. We find out about snow and we have to run out and buy up everything? Why? I don't get it.

I am simple when it comes to Christmas shopping. It's not that I don't care. I do know my family and friends. It's usually the time constraint. I do know what my family loves. To be honest my daughter, like a lot of people, prefer and ask for gift cards.

For about five or six months of the year you can find me and one of my friends doing a lot of walking around Amarillo. You will know it is us because we are wearing bright pink.
