The 30th Anniversary of Sixteen Candles

So this put things into perspective, on of my favorite movies from the 80's turns 30 this Sunday.  Sixteen Candles celebrates its 30th anniversary of the day when they all forgot Samantha's birthday.   I guess that means Sam would be 46 on Sunday.

This was the directorial debut for John Hughes as well as the first big role for Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall (who would later star together in The Breakfast Club).

So in honor of the 30th anniversary of Sixteen Candles here are some of my favorite scenes.
