The God Loves You Tour Is Coming To Amarillo On Sep 26
In between stops in Oklahoma City and Albuquerque, Franklin Graham will be bringing the God Loves You Tour to Amarillo on Sep 26. It's one of 8 stops along Route 66.
The God Loves You Tour will set up shop at John Stiff Memorial Park. There are several events planned.
One of the major highlights is the music. On the event's website it states that Newsboys will be performing that day. It's been a long time since I've seen them in concert. I think the last time was in Oklahoma City at the amusement park with the OC Supertones.
Man, I miss the Supertones.
The website does state that there will other uplifting musicians there as well. If you're looking for music with a positive message, it sounds like there will be plenty before Franklin Graham takes the stage.
The "main event" of the evening will be a message of hope delivered by none other than Franklin Graham. If the last name rings a bell and you're not sure why, that's because you're definitely familiar with his dad; Billy Graham.
Franklin has followed in his father's footsteps, so to speak. The evening is intended to be an uplifting, positive event for families to enjoy; including a "powerful message of hope" from Graham.
By the way, according to the website, it's a free event.
Positivity, love, hope; these are all things I imagine a lot of us could use right now. It seems like for the past few years our communities have become divided for one reason or another. People are angry about pretty much everything.
An evening set aside for hope really does sound appealing.
The event will kick off at 4 PM. You can follow this link for more information.
