The Amarillo Area Corvette Club is hosting the Vineyards Car show this weekend after a hiatus last year due to COVID-19. The 2019 event had at least 129 cars that were a good mix of not only Corvettes, but classic trucks, muscle cars, one offs, and motorcycles offering spectators a chance to revisit the past and have those "I had one of these" moments. It's also fun to see some of the restoration jobs that have no doubt had a lot of heart put into them.

Theres A Benefit Too...

A big shoutout to the Amarillo Corvette Club for this too, The proceeds from this year's event goes to support the Texas Panhandle 100 Club and Our Children's Blessing. Both charities offer incredible services. The folks at the Texas Panhandle 100 Club provide immediate financial assistance to families of fallen law enforcement officers and first responders within the 26 county region that is the Texas Panhandle. Our Children's Blessing offers financial and emotional support to families who have lost children shortly before or after birth which can be a very trying time for families.

There is still time to register your vehicle if you're interested, Food Vendors will be on site. The event takes place Saturday from 10am to 3pm at The Vineyards subdivision south of Loop 335 on Broadway. Check out the Amarillo Area Corvette Club's Website for details and registration.
