Amarillo Is Getting a Renaissance Faire for Halloween This Year
This year on Halloween, there is going to be a Renaissance Faire in Amarillo on 6th Street. It'll be hosted by the Route 66 Historic Amarillo Association.

It's appropriately titled...The Route 66 Renaissance Faire.
The Route 66 Historic Amarillo Association's "ren-faire" will be hosting food trucks, and there will be a lot of activities for the kids. If you've been looking for something to do on Halloween with the whole family, this might be what you're looking for.
There will be a trunk-or-treat as well.
Don't forget about everything else that will be happening on 6th Street for Halloween. You still have all of the stores and restaurants, and of course there will be the haunted house, Massacre on 6th Street.
After the Creepy Crawl got canceled, I started worrying. It looks like there is still going to be plenty of ways for you and the family to have a good time this Halloween.
Which has been my biggest concern. I'm fine sitting at home binge watching episodes of The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs with a six-pack of Miller Lite for Halloween (no one tell Joe Bob I don't drink Lone Star). My kids, however, want to get out of the house and they want candy.
The Route 66 Renaissance Faire will be on Halloween, from 10 AM until 5 PM. The trunk-or-treat at the Next Generation Church parking lot will be from 5 PM until 7 PM.
If you are a vendor, or have a business and would like info on how to get involved, reach out to the Route 66 Historic Amarillo Association.
