Amarillo Police Arrest Man Suspected of Robbing 2 Wells Fargo Banks
On Wednesday, the Amarillo Police Department arrested a man suspected to be responsible for the 2 recent Wells Fargo Bank robberies.
APD saw a silver van that matched the description of the getaway vehicle used during the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank on Georgia, while out on a call. The van was located in the drive up lane of a Burger King.
The officers took the driver of the van into custody. After getting a warrant the officers were allowed to search the van and the man's residence. APD found evidence in both places that linked the man to the robberies.
Jon-Michael Murray was arrested and booked into the Potter County jail and charged with the robbery of both Wells Fargo Banks.
