Hoodoo Mural Fest In Amarillo, Texas Plans Massive Anniversary Celebration

One of the major events to hit Amarillo, Texas every year is the Hoodoo Mural Festival. The fest has spent five years transforming parts of downtown Amarillo into a massive celebration of the arts. The murals that are created by the festival are loved by many and bring life to our downtown area. This year, to celebrate the fifth year of the Hoodoo Mural Festival, they're going all out.

If you've never been to the Hoodoo Mural Festival, you've missed out on massive immersion into art in downtown Amarillo. Artists from across the nation flock to Amarillo to create gorgeous murals, and musicians fill downtown with a variety of genres and styles. There's plenty of food, a space just for kids, and a silent disco. It's an experience that everyone can enjoy.

The festival is a family-friendly event. I've taken both of my young children to it, and they had a blast. They loved the music, the kids' area, and the silent disco. If you've got younger children, kids 10 and under get into the festival for free.
