Amarillo, Texas is filled to the brim with murals. It's hard to drive across town and not see any of the fine murals we have decorating our city. The styles and subjects are incredibly diverse, and each of them is worth taking a moment to admire. This week muralists from Amarillo and across the country are arriving to get ready for Hoodoo Mural Fest 2024.
Keep An Eye Out For Artists Working On Murals In Amarillo This Week
According to a press release from Hoodoo Mural Festival, muralists are arriving and beginning work on their murals for this year's festival. Local artists have already started work on the community wall. Headlining artist Drew Merritt is arriving and will begin working on his mural.
Other artists will be arriving throughout the week and will be starting on their pieces for the Hoodoo Mural Festival. As you're driving or walking around downtown Amarillo, keep an eye out for artists working on their pieces for this year's fest. The murals will all be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, during Hoodoo Mural Festival 2024.
