There's a piece of land on I-27 at the Bell Exit next to Tractor Supply and it's about to be booming with construction.

A new building will be going up and it'll be a new home for a current Amarillo business.

Forrest Tire of  Amarillo will have a new home soon.  They are currently located at 6605 W. I-40.  They will be trading one interstate for the other.

According to James Wickham with Forrest Tire, the new store is still in the planning and blueprint stages.  They are hoping to be in their brand new location in the next 10-12 months.

However, as you know, with the way this world moves it may take longer.  You never know if there are going to be supply issues and shortages of materials.

If you don't know anything about Forrest Tire, the company has been in business since 1944.

We are family owned and operated for four generations and 78 years, Forrest Tire is here to service your needs day or night. We have over 50 highly trained technicians and over 30 sales professionals  that are committed to providing you excellence in all your automotive and tire needs, on and off the road.

We love it when our local businesses get upgrades.  I'm sure with their new shop they will have more room to work because currently they are sandwiched between China Star and CiCi's Pizza.

Amarillo's Cursed Buildings – Historic Route 66, 2813 SW 6th

There are some places around town that just can't seem to stay in business for very long. This is one of them.

The address of the cursed building is 2813 SW 6th Street. This building was originally built in 1930. This place was originally a service station. I'm sure in the heydays of Rt. 66, this place was the place to stop to get your car serviced. However, in the last 15 years, this building has seen many different faces.

MASSIVE: Incredible Photos of the Historic 6666 Ranch

The sprawling 6666 Ranch is one of Texas' crown jewels. Established in 1870, the legendary Samuel Burk Burnett built himself an empire of cattle and Quarter Horses.

You can imagine the shock that rippled across Texas when the historic ranch that is twice the size of Chicago was listed for sale.

And it was certainly double the shock when the news came about that Taylor Sheridan, the director of the smash hit show "Yellowstone" was the winning buyer.

There's much to the story of 6666 Ranch and so little time to tell it, but first: just look at the incredible photos of this sprawling piece of Texan paradise.
