An Amarillo Event for Parents and Future Parents This Week

I was scrolling through Facebook the other day and let me tell you that is how I find about a lot of great things happening in Amarillo. I found one the other day that blew my mind. I mean if you are a parent or even on the verge of becoming a parent this is something you need to check out.

There is this event called Just Between Friends. When you become a parent there is just too much stuff that you need to get. Yes, there are baby showers to help you along the way but everything you need can be overwhelming.

Now if you also look at the price tag of cribs, clothes, diapers, strollers and all of that. That could be when the panic sets in. This is where this event can be a lifesaver. It is basically a way that you can get a lot of the stuff that your baby or child needs without the hefty price tag.

It's nice to buy everything new. I get it. There are some things that it just seems a waste to spend that crazy amount on something that may only last you, if you are lucky, three months. So buying gently used is really the way to go.

This event kicked off to the public at the Amarillo Civic Center on Thursday. But there is still plenty of shopping to go. There are shopping days from 9am - 6pm through Saturday. Saturday is also a win because things will be half off the prices already.

You can get your tickets at the door for $3 each day. Or you can go online HERE and see if they have any free tickets left. I am going to check it out because I am curious. I also know a lot of mom's that would love something I find there.
