The Amarillo Police Department is doing a lot to reach out to the community right now. Of course, there's the survey that is out regarding the qualities and qualifications we, the people, would like to see in our next police chief.

Now, the Community Engagement Unit is going to be hosting a monthly forum where they hope to connect with the residents of Amarillo. If you want to be in the know, and have questions you'd like answered, these forums would be a great way to accomplish that.

Evening Meetings Designed for Accessibility

The best thing about these forums is that they aren't scheduled for the middle of the workday when no one can attend them. They're scheduled in the evening and don't take up too much time.
