Bride and Groom Send Bill to Guests Who Didn’t Show Up to Their Wedding After They RSVP’d
Who doesn't love to attend a wedding? It's two people committing their lives to each other. It's romantic and of course, let's be honest, we go for the party afterwards. The meal, the cake and let's face it if we are lucky the open bar. However, things happen and sometimes we are unable to make the wedding even after the RSVP has been made.
It's common knowledge that the RSVPs are used to determine how many people will be attending the wedding. It is the determining factor when it comes to the catering, the favors, etc. Yes, the wedding party is responsible for that bill. I mean it is their wedding right. When you are planning a wedding you do have to realize that even though people RSVP they might not show up so you have to be willing to take that loss. However, one couple took their friends missing their wedding to the extreme and they billed them. They actually sent a bill to their home for the cost of what they paid for them to attend.
Yeah you read that right.
I just want to know if people are losing their mind. I can't help but wonder if this bride and groom stole this idea from the parent who billed a family after their kid didn't show up to a birthday party.
Get over it. Life happens. Enjoy your special day and forget about who didn't show up.
