I am fascinated by all things serial killers. I know it seems rather creepy. I love watching Investigation Discovery Channel all the time. Oh, and I have a favorite serial killer too. Who does that?

I have been reading up and following the case of Ted Bundy way before he became the "cool thing" again and was on every Dateline show and Netflix movie. So I mean since the mid 80's when he was back in the news prior to his execution I was reading all I could on him.

This chilling quote from Bundy couldn't be more true:

We serial killers are your sons, we are your husbands, we are everywhere. And there will be more of your children dead tomorrow.

Recently I was on Facebook and I found a friend of mine post about this creepy photo he had in his family. One that was sitting by his dad's rocker until the year 2005. Why was it taken down?

That was when Dennis Rader was arrested for being the BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) killer. Ok, so what is the connection?  Oh, and I promised to blur my friend and his sister out of the photo. I get it. It's so freaking cool though.

My friend was at a wedding when this photo was snapped. Oh and the creepy part? Dennis Rader, aka BTK was photo bombing this family moment. Yes, that Dennis Rader who is currently in prison for killing ten people between 1974 and 1991. He wasn't caught until 2005.

Only then it was because he was sending letters to police and to newspapers taunting them. He did himself in. He is now serving ten consecutive life sentences.

I get it that this may not be the photo you want up anymore but it is rather a cool photo. How many people can say they were photo bombed by a famous serial killer? This just goes to show you that these kinds of people can be anywhere. Just like Ted Bundy said they are everywhere. They can be shopping with you at the local United Supermarket. They can be at a wedding you are attending.

They can be in a photo that had been a normal everyday family moment. Until it's not.
