Before Summer Ends, Catch This Free Movie Night in Amarillo

Summer is far from over in Amarillo, Texas. School may be starting next month, but there is still plenty of fun to be had. Several events are still lined up to give you and the family a chance to get out before the summer ends.

Starlight Theater is still going strong every week with free live music. Pools and splashpads are still open. Wonderland and all of your favorite summer activities are still available. Coming up, you'll have another chance to enjoy a movie under the stars.

Starlight Cinema Returns With a Classic

On July 18, 2025, there will be another movie being shown in a park in Amarillo. It's a chance for you to get the family together for a fun night out that won't break the bank.

Starlight Cinema is back. The last time Starlight Cinema was held, the film chosen was a thriller. This time, it's a classic that everyone in the family enjoys.

Bring Your Blanket for ‘Grease’ Under the Stars

The classic Grease will be shown at Sam Houston Park on July 18. You're encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, stake your claim on the lawn at the park, and gather your family and friends for a fun night.

The film begins at dark, and there will be popcorn. Starlight Cinema is free to attend.
