Give The Gift Of Life And Win A Scholarship – B-Fly Blood Drive

Tuesday is a big day at Coffee Memorial Blood Drive - 7500 Wallace Blvd. It is the day for the B-Fly Blood Drive in memory of Brittany Fly. I never got to meet her but talking to Arron Sims, who is one of the ones who knew her best, I know I missed out on a great person.

Now Arron promised Brittany that he will be there to help and honor her and all the great work that Coffee Memorial Blood Center does. That brings us to this blood drive on Tuesday. It will be held at the blood center from 9 am - 7 pm. There will be a lot of great things going on.

You will receive a great "FRIENDS" themed t-shirt and a free one-hour VIP jump pass to Amp'd (formerly AirU). There will also be free breakfast from Torchy's Tacos and you will receive a coupon for a free 44-ounce tea from the Water Still.

Not only that but I will be out there from 10 am - 12 pm and then Danny from KISS FM will be out from 12 pm - 2 pm. Right now the Gift of Life is oh so important. Just because there is a pandemic going on doesn't mean that the need for blood has slowed down. They need it now more than ever. People are still getting in accidents and getting sick so the blood supply needs to be there.

Here is the cool thing that Arron Sims does every year for this blood drive. He makes sure that if you are in college, wanting to go to college, or on your way this next semester, that there is a chance to help you with money. There will be two $2,000 scholarships that will be given away tomorrow and tomorrow only.

All you need to do is come give the gift of life. You can donate yourself and get your family and friends to as well. They can put your name down to win the scholarship. So this circle of life can help you on your way to paying for college.
