Hippity Hoppity Easter’s On Its Way with Eggsciting Events

Easter is this weekend and if you have been looking for something to so with the kids, then have I got the events for you!

Let's start with the Amarillo Parks and Rec they are hosting their annual event.

Amarillo Egg Dash!

The event will take place Friday, April 15th at 6pm.  Grab the kids and their Easter Baskets (or last year's Easter Basket since the Easter Bunny hasn't visited yet), and head to John Stiff Memorial Park.

The kids will have a mad das to fill their baskets with all the eggs!   Each egg will have a variety of things hiding inside.   Those things include candy, toys and certain trinkets.

Now don't worry, they will have dashes for different age groups so the bigger kids won't be running over the little kids.

Not to mention the Easter Bunny himself will be at the event for pictures.

The best thing about this event is it is free!

Now if you haven't gotten your fill of Easter Fun, then grab the kids and hop on out to the Amarillo Zoo for their annual Easter event.

Easter Eggcitement

Now you don't want to miss this event because of all the animals and fun.  The Amarillo Zoo will open on Saturday, April 16th at 9:30am for this fun event.

You can join them for egg-ordinary enrichment games and of course the encounters with the animals.  They will also have candy, games, characters, plus crafts.  Not only that the animals will have their own Easter fun.

Admission:
$6 per person
Children under 2 are free.
