Hostess is Going Out of Business – What Will We Do Without Twinkies® and Ding Dongs®?

The Hostess company, the maker of Twinkies® will be shutting down their operations.  Yes, you read that right.  They are shutting their doors.  If you are like me, my inner child just died.

The Hostess Company posted the following on their facebook page:

We are sorry to announce that Hostess Brands, Inc. has been forced to shut down all operations and sell all company assets due to the Bakers Union strike. For more information, go to www.hostessbrands.info. Thank you to our fans for all your loyalty and support over the years.

 

Hostess is the company that brings us the following greatness:

Twinkies®, CupCakes, Ding Dongs®, Ho Ho’s®, Sno Balls® and Donettes®.

They also made the following breads, Wonder®, Nature’s Pride ®, Merita®, Home Pride®, Butternut®, and Beefsteak®, among others.

How can the world survive without Twinkies®?  Goodbye Twinkie the Kid you will be missed.
