Christmas is a magical time of year. Everybody loves the magic that comes with Christmas. Especially watching it all through a child's eyes. It's just great to see how much a child gets excited for Santa to arrive.

There are many traditions that go with this time of year. From decorating the tree all the way to going as a family to look at the Christmas lights. One thing that really stands out is all the fun activities we have as well.

Nothing screams Christmas more than the Lonestar Ballet's Nutcracker. It is a magical performance everyone needs to see. The story reminds me of when I lived in Chicago. We would go downtown and every store had moving Christmas stories in each window. My favorite was to see the store play out the story of the Nutcracker.

Getting to watch Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy. It was just so fun to watch it play out. The story is just so much fun. So to see the Lone Star Ballet's performance always brings that magic back into my life.

This is the weekend that the magic is back here in Amarillo.
