These Amarillo Gyms Offer Childcare While You Workout

Now that we've hit the new year in Amarillo, it's time to take action on all those New Years resolutions we made. Granted, we're already seven days into the year and I'd imagine many have already broken them at this point.

However, if your resolution is still intact, congratulations. I know they always become the toughest thing for us to follow through on early in the new year. Getting in the routine is always the hardest, right?

One of the most made resolutions each year is getting in shape or hitting the gym. You ever notice how the new year always brings on a TON of promotion from gyms around the city? Three months free, introductory rates, etc.

They know their audience, but how many of you go to the gym religiously for a couple of weeks, then start to tail off? We always have an excuse as to why we can't go, but one of the top ones it "I have kids".

Look, I've got three kids myself, and I know it can be hard, especially if you don't have kids old enough to look after themselves for an hour or two. The only way you can hit the gym at that point is to take them with you, and some gyms won't even let kids under 13 be inside the building.

If you go to a gym though where they do allow kids in there, the question becomes what do you do with them once you're there?

Well good news, because there are at least four different gyms in Amarillo that we know of that offer childcare so you can workout in peace.

Gold's Gym, TruFit, Anytime Fitness, and Verdure all offer childcare services at their gyms, allowing you to stick to that New Years resolution. Now, one thing you'll want to look into is the hours of their childcare. It's not necessarily the hours they're open, but certain hours they offer those services.

There are other gyms in the area that allow children to be there with you while you workout, The Gym at Contagion Athletics being one of them.

So keep that resolution this year, no more excuses!
