Something miraculous has happened in the Texas panhandle, not far from Amarillo, Texas. It calls for celebration, and people have already been soaking up all they can of this unexpected surprise.

There's a lake in the area that has been bone dry for quite some time. Many had given up hope that there would ever be water in it again. Friends, I'm here to tell you, Lake McClellan has water.

Rain Brings A Long-Hoped-For Miracle To The Texas Panhandle

The panhandle recently received a lot of rain. It seems that everyone has been reaping the benefits. Palo Duro Canyon looks incredible, lakes and rivers are filling up, and I've had to mow my yard twice in a single week.

The most incredible thing that came out of the recent downpour happened at Lake McClellan. There's actually water in Lake McClellan again. It flowed into the lake from the creek that feeds it, and people couldn't be more excited.

It's a miracle that some among us never thought they'd see. Asking if the lake had water in it became something of a joke for a while. People would ask, but you knew what the answer was. That's all changed now.

Photos have been circulating online of people making the trip out to McClellan to see it for themselves. Someone was even able to get a kayak out on the water. Did you ever think you'd see a kayak at McClellan that wasn't strapped to the roof of a car?

Some Is Good. More Is Better. Hoping For More Rain At Lake McClellan.

The good news is that there is some water in Lake McClellan. It's miraculous, and we should all give thanks. But if some is good, then more is better.

There are some reports of fish biting, but not much. Also, the water is very deep. You can go out and check it out, but I wouldn't take your skis with you. Not yet.
