Losing Their Donuts in Canyon a Sad Reality For Us All
There have been some hard times facing food places in Amarillo and Canyon. Since the pandemic when most places just shut down. To then try to find people who wanted to work.
It was back in October the Donut Stop took to Social Media to let everyone know about their problems. They tried to fix it by limiting their hours.
Donut Stop's Post in October
The Canyon location had to close over the weekend. Which to me is their busiest time. Also the time they were having the hardest time finding employees. So that was sad news number one.
I have seen people posting recently about the Canyon location and when will they be open again. When they drive by and see the lights off is this going to be just a temporary thing.
The Canyon residents are missing their cherry donuts I tell you. Then today is when the news that everyone was fearing would come was posted on their door.
So now if you want a cherry donut you will have to travel to Amarillo. That is sad news number two. No more Donut Stop in Canyon.
The residents do still have a Got Donuts. I have not personally tried them yet. This may be something I will have to check out. Just know that they do have cherry donuts, just don't expect them to taste the exact same.
So as we head into summer 2022 it starts with some sad news for everyone. One less place for donuts in Canyon.
