When you think of a cat, you think of this cute cuddly fur ball that likes to curl up with you.  When I think of a cat, I think of that as well, because that describes my cat.  However, my cat has another side.  He is a serial killer.

My cat loves to bring me sacrifices of the avian and rodent kind.  He has a habit of leaving dead birds or mice in my living room.  The other day I went to move the laundry basket and the cat had found a way of tunneling through the laundry and leaving a dead bird and mice carcases in my laundry.

So my cat and I had a talk.  I told him he was not allowed to bring any more dead animals inside my house.  I think he understood me and we had an agreement.   Well at least I thought we did.

My cat is devious.  So what did my cat do? Well he didn't bring a dead bird in my house.  He caught a bird and brought it into my house very alive and and well.  He did this while E and I went swimming.

So when I get home, E starts screaming, "Momma there's a Blue Jay in the house."  To which I replied, "did that cat kill another bird?"  "No momma, it's alivvvvvve."  Then the bird swooped in and around us.  I started looking around, and everything on the top shelf of something was now on the ground and even broken.  My dining table was covered in bird poop because that bird was perched on my chandelier.

So what did I do, I opened my front and back doors and chased that bird through my house until it flew out the back door.  Then I cleaned up a huge mess including bird poop.  Oh by the way, blue jays poop blue, or at least this one did.

Then I found the cat and we had a talk.  I said NO MORE BIRDS DEAD or ALIVE.  He just meowed.
