It's that time of year. Parents are scrambling trying to get school supplies bought, clothes bought, hair cuts...cut; all in time for the start of a new school year. There are a lot of "back to school" events happening in the area.
So if you're needing haircuts, supplies, or just want a fun day out, check out these events.
Quarterly Quarter Clothing Sale At Back & Forth
Back & Forth is a thrift store, and to get in on this clothing sale you'll need to stop by this weekend.
In all honesty, it's worth a look. Clothes shopping for a new school year is always expensive, and this is a way to cut that cost big time.
Shop & Chop August 13
This event is exactly what it sounds like. Shop and get a haircut for the kids.
It will be held at The Party Suite at 4400 S. Washington.
The plan is to have several vendors on hand, plus free haircuts and school supplies. You can find out more by following this link.
5th Annual Back 2 School Bario Bash and Horseshoe Tournament
This one is going to be held on August 6th at El Alamo Park. It starts at 12pm.
There will be backpacks with school supplies, haircuts, hamburgers and hotdogs, and they'll even have some live entertainment. This one is slated to last through the day and into the night.
