City Of Amarillo Is Upgrading Billing Sytems

According to a press release put out by the City today, there is an upgrade taking place to update the current billing systems and technology. While this is taking place, there's going to be a hiccup in your plans to pay your bill.

Simply stated, you won't be able to.

During The Upgrade, You Won't Be Able To Pay Your Bill

Before you get too excited, it isn't making your bill go away. Things will get back to business as usual.

However, you will not be able to make payments online, over the phone, or in person at City Hall while this is happening. Further good news is that water service will not be interrupted during this time, according to the press release.

The time frame for the inability to pay your bill is November 30 at 5 PM, through December 2. It's not an incredibly long amount of time, but if you were planning on making a payment on one of those days you'll want to rethink your plans.

The press release states that once the upgrade to the system is complete, there won't be any changes to current accounts.
