If you're planning on traveling over the Fourth of July weekend, you'll want to make sure you're on your best behavior. There is going to be an increased law enforcement presence in Amarillo.

The Potter County Sheriff's Office recently took to social media to remind everyone that they are going to be out in force over the Independence Day weekend. They're teaming up with the Texas Department of Transportation to get it done.

Texas is still trying to "end the streak" when it comes to death on our roadways. According to the Texas Department of Transportation's website, there has been a death on Texas roads every day since November 7, 2000.
