Review: Walk*On’s In Amarillo – Open Today!

So I must say I must be living right. Not only did I get to go try out Walk-On's during their "soft opening" for lunch on Thursday with the on-air staff at Townsquare Media.....I also got to go back for dinner the next night with my daughter and a friend.

I have never been to a Walk-On's so I was really excited to try it out. Our server at lunch time was Alexis from Texas. Oh and she also lived in Italy for awhile. She was great. We visited with her and General Manager, Colin McMurray. Now Colin and I go WAY back. We used to work together at Gardski's many moons ago. I will admit he is the reason I got to go and try it out in the first place. So special thanks to him.

Knowing that Walk-On's has Drew Bree's name associated with it....you know it is going to be heavy on the sports. They have TV's in every direction. It will soon become a fan favorite here in Amarillo that is for sure.

Just know that today is the official first day of Walk-Ons being open to the public. They are located at 3506 S Soncy Road here in Amarillo. Definitely try them out as soon as you can. You won't regret it and I feel you will keep going back. Nothing but smiles and full stomachs for the soft opening over the weekend.

When I went back on Friday with my daughter and a friend of hers I decided to try all new stuff. Of course everything was still good.
