Big changes are coming to Jack in the Box! The fast-food giant plans to close up to 200 restaurants as part of a cost-cutting move.

Jack in the Box, which closed locations in February, is now ready to close as many as 200 more restaurants.

I feel like Jack in the Box has a cult following here in Amarillo. There is a love for the place that matches no other place needed here. I feel when we ask what needs to come to Amarillo that is one that is mentioned many, many times.

What exactly is the Mandela Effect? We have all heard it. We have probably all experienced it. What exactly is it? Well, it is when a large group of people believes something happened when it really never did.

We have weekly meetings trying to come up with story ideas. We sit around and talk about rumors about what is going on around Amarillo. We try to decide what is going to be a good read. What is going to be newsworthy?

We found out early in the new year that we had our first restaurant casualty here in Amarillo. We lost Fuddrucker's over on I40 and Soncy. Some people were surprised. A lot more really weren't.

It didn't take long for the Amarillo Restaurant Reviews Facebook page to ask the question. What's going in the old Fuddruckers building. They posted that as a little joke. The responses are somewhat funny.

I spent a few days visiting my daughter in the Dallas area. That included my making a trip by car. I am not a big fan of the drive but I am getting a little more use to it. I got diagnosed with some pretty high blood pressure lately.

Moving my child from Amarillo to Dallas last weekend really did kill me. Now I know I raised her to the best of my ability.
