The Amarillo Zoo Offers Some Eggcitement this Weekend

It's Easter weekend and it's full of fun.  Don't miss all the eggcitement at the Amarillo Zoo. 

WHAT: Easter Eggcitment

WHEN: Saturday, April 15th, 9:30-3pm

WHERE: Amarillo Zoo in Thompson Park

COST: $5 per person

Come eggplore the Amarillo Zoo on their Bunny Trail EggVenture, filled with a hunt for eggs.  Learn fun facts about the animals in the zoo while getting a special Safari passport.  After the adventure ends and the passports are full, kids can trade that in for a special surprise.

Also enjoy face painting for an extra fee. Plus join the animals as they enjoy their special treats.

The lions and tigers get their treats at 10:15am, lemurs at 11:15am (check out this video of what the lemurs like to snack on), Spider Monkeys 1:15pm, and the Bear at 2:15p.

Have the kids bring their Easter Baskets as they find treasures all over the zoo including those special Gold eggs.

Plus Andy Chase will be providing the entertainment from 11a-2p.
