The Soap Box Show Us How to Make Soap

Have you ever wondered how a bar of soap is made?   Do you know exactly what goes into making soap?  Well, we found out.

I was on Facebook the other day and I ran across a Facebook page of a place that makes soap and I thought hey it would be fun to learn how to make soap.  I'm not talking about the boring bar soap on the store shelves.  I'm talking about the homemade fancy soaps that look so pretty.

I reached out to Mandy, the owner of The Soap Box, and I asked her if she wouldn't mind showing Charlie and I how to make soap and she agreed.

Let me say I didn't realize the steps that went behind making soap nor did I realize you couldn't just use it once you were done making it.  You have to wait a few weeks.

So the Mix Mornings crew headed over to Sunset Center and met with Mandy.

And that is how you make soap.  We can't wait to see the finished product, however we have about a week left to wait.
