There are a lot of surveys going on right now, or at least it feels like it. One of them regards the agenda that city leaders will use to help guide their decision making in the future. The City Plan survey is still open, and you can give your opinions.

However, this weekend is pretty much your last chance.

What Is Amarillo's City Plan?

The City Plan is basically a guide that city leaders are going to use to help make decisions regarding the future of Amarillo. The survey will give them an idea on what residents think should be prioritized and what our goals should be.

You might have seen the social media posts regarding Vision:2045. 2045 is a reference to the year...2045. That's how far this plan should theoretically take us.

Why Should You Take The Survey?

Honestly, it's a lot easier than sitting through a raucous meeting. You get to spend that time doing...anything at else. Anything at all. Hug a loved one. Fly a kite. Pet a puppy. The choice is yours.

It's also a pretty simple way to add your voice to the heap without having to sit through a bunch of speeches. Answer the questions, fill in the parts where you can write out your concerns, and then go bake a cake.

It's easy.

Filling Out The Survey Only Takes Minutes Out Of Your Busy Life

I think I had the whole thing done in less than 20 minutes. I'm sure your experience can be less than, or more than, that. I suppose it all depends on how detailed you want to get with your answers and how passionate you are.
