Wait, the Amarillo Subway's Brought Back This Favorite?

It has been a really long couple of year. We dealt with a pandemic. We learned how to live through that. The one thing I can't learn to live with is when someplace takes away my favorite meal.

How Could Subway Do This To Me?

I know this shouldn't be a big deal. It should be something I could get over but I ended up had a love/hate relationship with Subway. They took away my favorite sandwich. This happened back in 2020. They took away my toast beef sandwich. How dare they.

So I stopped going. I only went when I was visiting my daughter. She would want to go so I drudged through it. I got the turkey sandwich but it wasn't the same. I mean it wasn't bad but it wasn't my roast beef.

I always dress my sandwich up with pretty much everything they can throw on the sandwich. I add onions, pickles, jalapenos, banana peppers, cucumbers, black olives, bell peppers. Sometimes I add tomatoes, it really just depends on my mood.

When Will This Nightmare End? Bring Back The Roast Beef

Just like that my nightmare is over. I don't even know when this changed. It couldn't have been that long ago. I saw on Facebook an ad for the roast beef sandwich at Subway. Yay. I sent a text to my daughter right away. I have to admit I was probably a little more excited than I should be.

It does say NEW, so I know it hasn't been back for a long time. I am just happy that after two years I can now start going back to Subway. So guess what I did?

Yes, That Just Happened

When I went in to Subway I asked the employee's how long it has been back. I was correct. It wasn't very long ago. So I feel like this is a big win. While talking to them they did say to mention that they no longer have Swiss cheese or the chicken patty. I guess they have had a lot of people asking.

I never get cheese on my sandwich so not having Swiss didn't mean a lot to me. I do know that people do hate change. So I am sure there are people missing those options. I know that is how I felt when they took my roast beef away.

So I guess there are some things about 2022 that I am happy about. I feel like I finally got a win.
