After watching Saturday Night Live over the weekend and seeing the Muppets with host Jason Segel it reminded me how much I loved 'The Muppet Show' growing up.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Muppet Movie when it opens on Wednesday, November 23rd.

With that said, I thought we would take a look at my Top 5 Muppet moments.

So, get ready for the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational. This is what we call the Top 5 Muppet list.

    Bohemian Rhapsody

This Queen classic went viral a few years ago. Although some of the lyrics have been changed, Animal and the gang pay homage to one of the greatest rock songs ever.

    Mahnah mahna

This was one of the first skits that was performed on The Muppet Show when it debuted in 1976. For whatever reason, this clip always brings a smile to my face.

    The Muppet Show Theme

Here is the opening theme to the Muppet Show. Over the years it was redone and changed a bit, but for the most part the theme remained the same.

    The Swedish Chef

Unlike most of the Muppets that were controlled by one puppeteer, The Swedish Chef had the top two talents performing him. Jim Henson (Kermit) was the voice and moved the mouth, while Frank Oz (Miss Piggy) used his actual hands. You would need real hands to toss the knifes and other various objects the Chef like to hurl.

    The Ongoing Telephone Gag

Weekly viewers of the Muppet Show where familiar with the old slap-stick, vaudevillian on going joke, where the backstage phone would ring and Fozie would answer it. Here is a quick compilation of just some of the calls.
