1975 - LED ZEPPELIN had all six of their albums on the charts at the same time, a feat never before accomplished in history.

1986 - "Rock Me Amadeus", by FALCO, peaked at #1 on the pop singles chart.

1987 - At the peak of Hulkamania, in front of 93,173 fans at the Pontiac Silverdome, HULK HOGAN body-slammed the 520-pound ANDRE THE GIANT to retain the WWF title at WRESTLEMANIA 3.

1992 - Presidential candidate BILL CLINTON acknowledged experimenting with marijuana "a time or two" while attending Oxford University adding, quote, "I DIDN'T INHALE and I didn't try it again."

1993 - The Supreme Court announced it would use a case involving 2 LIVE CREW to decide whether copyright holders can ban song parodies.

1993 - CLINT EASTWOOD won his FIRST OSCAR, as Best Director for "Unforgiven" which also took Best Picture and earned GENE HACKMAN the Best Supporting Actor award.

(MARISA TOMEI surprised everyone by winning Best Supporting Actress for "My Cousin Vinny".  Disney's "Aladdin" won Best Original Score and "A Whole New World" from "Aladdin" won the Oscar for Best Original Song.)

1996 - TOMMY and PAMELA LEE sued "Penthouse" for $10 million.  They were asking a judge to stop the magazine from marketing the stolen home video.  They failed.

2005 - Former O.J. SIMPSON attorney JOHNNIE COCHRAN died of an inoperable brain tumor.  He was 67 years old.

2009 - Comedian MITCH HEDBERG died of an accidental overdose.  He was 37.
