Zero Covid-Positive Patients At BSA ICU

Looking back over the past two years, there were some people who wondered if this would ever happen. Buzz-phrases like "new normal" gave little hope that anything would ever be the same.

Yet, here we are. Maybe, finally, we can see some kind of light at the end of the tunnel.

If you've been keeping up with the City of Amarillo's Facebook page, where they have been publishing the "report card," then you know that they've reduced the amount of reporting they do to only once a week due to the low numbers we've been seeing.

The numbers have been in decline for a while, and now we get this great news.

I imagine that more than anyone, the healthcare workers at BSA ICU have got be enjoying this. I'm not sure any of us can fully grasp what our healthcare workers have been through.

To our healthcare workers, thank you. Saying that the past two years had to be difficult is probably the understatement of the century. While this may not mean that everything can go back to the way it was in 2019, I do hope it offers you a chance to breathe and see some light at the end of the tunnel.
