Warhammer is interesting for several reasons. My introduction to it was the collection of classic PC video games and expansions. I spent a good chunk of my high school years playing through them. Then there's the books, a lot more video games, and of course the tabletop game.

Fantastic news, gamers! The new Amarillo Warhammer Store is open.

Warhammer In Amarillo, Texas

The Warhammer Store is located in Wolflin Village right next to Office Depot. Seriously. They're right next to it.

It's really easy to find, and isn't tucked away in obscurity.

I went on a little trip to see what a store devoted solely to Warhammer would be like, and this is what I found.

I've got to say it was pretty fun. I lost track of time looking through all of the different miniatures, books, and novels. Whether you're just starting out and are curious, or are a seasoned pro, they've got something for everyone.

Behold! The Starter Wall For Those New To Warhammer!

Warhammer is intimidating. There's no other way of putting it. There's a lot going on with this franchise. Luckily, the Warhammer Store has you pretty well covered. Especially when it comes to figuring out just what in the world is going on.

I honestly wasn't expecting to see something like this. There's a whole section devoted to those just starting out. The starter wall is exactly what it sounds like. It's a wall that has everything you need in order to dip a toe into the Warhammer universe.

They've even got enough of the novels in stock to get you caught up on some of the lore that goes into Warhammer. Speaking of, the novels are great.

Trust me.

There Will Be Classes In Amarillo To Help You Get Started

The Warhammer Store takes things a step further. They even have classes coming up.

These classes are to help you learn the ins and outs of playing Warhammer. They even have classes set up to teach you how to paint your miniatures, which by the way is a big part of playing Warhammer.

I know several people who take a lot of pride in their collection of pieces that they have personally painted.

Yes, The Warhammer Store Is Worth Checking Out

The store is set up nicely. The staff was more than happy to answer questions and give details. The only problem I saw while I was there was the fact that there were a few bare spots on the shelves.

That should be remedied soon, though. Staff are waiting on a little bit more product to come in.

If you, or your kids, have ever been interested in possibly getting into Warhammer, this would be a great place to start. While the store isn't massive, there's more than enough to get you going.

Plus, if you already know what you want and don't see it, they have a whole spot set up where you can order items and have them shipped directly to the store.
