Former WT Buff Playing For Harlem Globetrotters

If you are going to see the Harlem Globetrotters tonight you are in for a great show.
What you may not know....because I didn’t.....is that one of their players is a former West Texas A&M basketball player. I only found out because I was telling my daughter about the game tonight.

She was the one who told me one of their players used to play for WT. So I asked if she knew his name. It’s Antjuan Ball. So I looked him up and sure enough.

So besides knowing that it’s going to be a lot of fun I will also be rooting a little harder for #48. I love seeing people from this area succeed like this. That’s a pretty big deal. He’s got moves from what I’ve been watching on YouTube.

He played for WT his junior and senior year. He graduated in 2015 and joined the Harlem Globetrotters in 2016. What is better than playing for a team that is THAT famous. So I can't wait for the show tonight.

So where this is not new to many WT Students and fans it was definitely news to me so I am sure it is for others too. So if you are heading to the Amarillo Civic Center tonight make sure you scope out #48.
