There are over ten McDonald's in and near the Amarillo area. We have plenty of places that you can stop if you are craving a Big Mac. I get it. That happens to me more times than I would care to admit.

The one thing I count on is that all McDonald's pretty much have the same menu. It doesn't matter which one you stop at you know you can get Chicken McNuggets. You can grab some of their great French Fries.

You may not be able to grab an ice cream cone because it seems like one thing they all have in common is their ice cream machine being down more often than you would care for it to be. It has become a running joke for a reason.

The one thing I didn't expect is to hit a roadblock when it comes to one of my favorite items. It started several years ago when we noticed we could not get any hot mustard sauce at any McDonald's in the area.

We thought that it was just a sauce that was no more. That was not true. I could get it in Dallas. It was another running joke because I would ask my daughter for some for Christmas, every year. Bring me as much as she can.

Then a miracle happened and it came back to Amarillo. I was not the only one that was excited. It became a topic online. Hot Mustard back at McDonald's made a lot of people happy.

There was something strange that I noticed over the weekend.  I was on a quest to get my granddaughter as many of the Squishmallows as I could. I made many trips to different McDonald's.

I would order a Happy Meal on the app to go and pick it up. I noticed that at some McDonald's I could get hot mustard and some I couldn't. So I did some research.

Which McDonald's Can You Not Get Hot Mustard?

Make it make sense. Why would it be available at some but not all? It really doesn't make sense at all. All I know is that I now know which McDonald's I will not visit. I have to have my Hot Mustard. Hopefully, that will change. Equal sauce for all McDonald's.
