Coffee is one of those things that a lot of us in Amarillo need. We need to drink so much a day just to be bearable. When you hear that a place is closing down it kind of puts us in panic.

We are fans of caffeine here in Amarillo. We are fans of coffee that is for sure. There are so many places to get a good cup of coffee in the morning. The traffic doesn’t stop there. You see long lines at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Roaster’s and Palace Coffee Shop.

There are some nights that we just get that magical good night of sleep. Those seem to be few and far between. Those are the mornings that as our alarm goes off we can seem to jump out of bed and face the day.

Our healthcare workers have been on the frontline this year helping to fight the spread of coronavirus. They definitely need all the recognition they can get. When a lot of us were working from home and spending time with our family, they were out there. They have done so much. There are a lot of things that are being affected because of the virus. There are things being cancelled. There are things being postponed. We are working a way we may have never dreamed was even possible.
