There are some nights that we just get that magical good night of sleep. Those seem to be few and far between. Those are the mornings that as our alarm goes off we can seem to jump out of bed and face the day.

Oh and then there are those other days. You know the ones I am talking about. Where your alarm goes may not even hear it. Oh and you are trying to figure out exactly how long it is before you can climb in bed again hoping for a better night of sleep.

Oh that elusive night of great sleep. So when we don't get that sleep we have to find a way to get the energy to get out of bed. We need the energy to face the day. So what are some of the things you can do to help get your morning started the right way?

If you are a coffee drinker, of course that is number one on the list. Coffee has that kick you need to wake you up. What if you are not a coffee drinker? You can also reach for a glass of tea as well.

There are other things you can do. How about turning on music? The sound of some of your favorite tunes can give you the energy you need. Music has gotten me through many mornings.

Once you get out of bed you should either just wash your face with cold water or jump in the shower. That kick can help you as well. So if you need a little extra help try that in the morning.

Sometimes you don't even need that caffeine to get you moving. After many hours in bed sometimes you are just a bit dehydrated. So reach for a glass of water. That may help wake you up as well.
