We Are All Dehydrated, How to Drink More Water in Amarillo
Time and time again I have this conversation with a friend. We discuss how we need to be drinking more water. A co-worker of mine yesterday was feeling shaky. I got him a bottle of water and he perked right up.
We all know we need to be drinking more water. Why is it so difficult to do? Some people just like their water to have a good taste to it. The problem is if we add something with a lot of sugar than that healthy water is no longer healthy.
Daily Water Drinking Ritual
I get to the station every morning and grab two bottles of water. Charlie makes fun of my process....but it works. I open one bottle and I pour in a packet of either True Lemon or True Lime.
This is a product that a co-worker introduced me to. Basically the package is a dehydrated wedge of lemon or lime. So no added sugar whatsoever. This makes water so much easier to drink.
Now why do I start with two bottles of water? As I am drinking the first bottle with the lemon or lime in it, I add water from the second bottle. One package can last for three or four bottles before you lose the taste.
I try to introduce this healthy way to get more water. I have a lot of friends that would benefit just from drinking more water. This year it was my friend Sherry. I knew I just would have to give her a couple packages.
After she tried them guess what? She went on Amazon and ordered them herself. They have lemon, lime, grapefruit and orange. The lemon and lime are my favorite. My friend bought both of those too. Her thoughts once she started using them regularly:
BTW, apparently I drink lots more water with the lime than I do with the lemon...(strange Sherry facts for you this morning). I thought I would like the lemon more, but for some reason the time goes down easier.
I seem to like them both and drink a heck of a lot more water since I have started using them. You can check them out HERE.
