Sixth Street

Amarillo loves a good controversy. We really do. Usually when someone gets on Facebook to dog a business. One that they feel needs to change something to make this customer happy. Whether the change happens or not.

If you drive around Amarillo and especially Sixth Street you can take a trip down memory lane. You can relive places that used to be there. There are shops and restaurants that have come and gone.

Oh, Amarillo sometimes you try to sneak one over on me. Finding new places to eat in Amarillo brings me such joy. Really it does. I really try to find out about places before they open. Sometimes that just doesn't happen. Sometimes you find a way to surprise me. Well played.

They do mention that they are planning to regroup, and then find a new location.

Every day you get up and head to the office. You think about how you would do things differently if you were the boss. Heck, you would be a great boss. If you could just find a business to own.

It was earlier this year when I got to stop by and do a review of a new place in Amarillo. Ok, when I am given the task of trying new food I am excited. I mean I am all about food. I don't care what type it is I am in and will try it.

One of the best places to visit in Amarillo is Sixth Street. They get a lot of visitors because of course it is part of Route 66. So why would you not visit? Plus when they have a lot of great shops and restaurants there is just a ton to do.

In the past few days, we already heard that the building that Grill Italia occupied was up for sale. Now another local favorite also had a sign go up at their business.

Amarillo has a lot of places where you can grab your friends and head out for a great meal. You drive down almost any main street of this great town and you are going to run into a place or two.

I will be the first to admit that I have never heard of Montana style barbecue. I didn't know that was even a thing. I mean this is Texas. We have got some of the best barbecue ever. Right here from our very own state of Texas. So this is going to be interesting.
