I haven't been on TikTok very long. My daughter was the one to convince me to try it out. I like it for some of the tips and tricks it teaches me. I have told my daughter, though, to be wary of stuff you see on it. Don't believe everything you see. Do your research.

That is for sure important especially when these video creators are trying to become influencers and make money off of the site. I get it but only pass on real information. So one of the videos I saw was for a Block Feta Cheese with Tomatoes Pasta. It looked pretty dang good.

Of course the more I saw someone making it the more I wanted to try it. I was one of those that never knew you could get Feta Cheese in the form of a block of cheese. I love Feta but always bought it in crumbles. Tik Tok has taught me some things.

I mentioned this to my mom and she said she was at the store the other day when someone was hunting for a block of Feta cheese. I told her I bet she was making this exact same recipe. So of course my mom said after I tried it I needed to let her know how it was and share the recipe with her.

So I started with getting my ingredients out

I needed a block of Feta Cheese, two things of tomatoes, Olive oil, any kind of pasta, salt, pepper and I added some garlic as well.

So the first step was to pre-heat oven to 400. Use oil in the bottom of oven safe baking dish. Pour both containers of tomatoes into dish, place the block of Feta cheese in the middle. Drizzle more oil on top and salt and pepper to taste.

Bake for 35 minutes. While it is baking boil water in a pan on the stove. Pour 8 - 10 oz of any pasta you want in boiling water. Salt to taste. When timer goes off on oven mix up the tomatoes and cheese. Mince 3 cloves of fresh garlic and add to mixture. Drain the pasta and add to tomatoes and cheese. Mix it all up.

This was really one of the absolute best pasta dishes I have made in a while. The tanginess of the Feta cheese combined with the tomatoes, magnificent. I am already looking forward to the leftovers I will have tomorrow.
