Let's face it....mornings can be brutal. Especially if you don't consider yourself a morning person.

Just getting out of bed can be a real chore. So if you are like that then there are a few more things you shouldn't do in the morning. The reason? Because these things will make you feel even more tired.

You really shouldn't hit the snooze button. I know for some people that is something you have to do. The problem is that when you snooze you are more than likely going to get deep into a sleep cycle. Not being able to finish that sleep cycle properly will make you feel even groggier. So try to avoid that snooze button. Try it for awhile and see if you wake up more refreshed.

How productive are you in a day? Do you make your bed when you get up? Or do you figure that you will just be heading that way again soon. Well you shouldn't leave your bed unmade that just makes you feel a little less productive. So start the day off right.

When you get up in the morning and start getting ready are you in the dark? Or do you have the lights on? If you are getting ready in the dark it can signal that it is still nighttime and you may end up feeling even more tired. So get up and get the lights on....or open up the shades. Get your body ready for the day.

When is the best time to drink coffee. Should you have your first sips as soon as you get up? Or should you wait? Did you know that your body produces cortisol, which helps regulate energy, between 8 am and 9 am? So the best time to have that first cup of coffee is after 9:30 am.
