This may seem crazy but maybe, just maybe, you can lose weight just by taking off your shoes! I told you. Who would ever think. So as you get home from a long day in the unit at Northwest Texas Hospital or Baptist St Anthony's just take off your shoes.

Can this be possible? There is apparently a science behind it. There always is, right?

It has to do with little bitty chemical particles that we come in contact with on a daily basis. These particles called "obesogens". They mess with our hormones and actually promote fat growth in our tissues.

So, if you take off your shoes you do not track so many in the house. Other things you can do to reduce your exposure is to vacuum more often. You can even avoid heating food up in plastic and try to eat organic foods that haven't been exposed to pesticides. All of those things that are bad for you can also cause issues in weight gain. So eliminating them from your home is the best thing you can do.
It seems like a win-win. You can take off your shoes and you can vacuum. Vacuuming in itself will help you with weight loss too. So double your "work" and double your chance of losing that extra weight. Burning those calories while barefoot....why not? It seems like an easy and productive thing to do.
It's not clear how much weight you could lose BUT it's worth a try because let's face it....taking off your shoes seems like an easy thing to try. What do you think? Could this work? Comment below and let me know.
