Bones Hook Park Event Kicks Off – Week Long of Spring Break Food
Not everyone is looking forward to Spring Break. Yes it is a week off of school. For some that means they do not have access to food when they are not in school. All kids need to eat. That need doesn't end because the school is taking a break.
That is why Tremaine Brown with Shi Lee's Barbecue & Soul Food wants to make sure that food is not an issue. Oh and it is kicking off in a big way. A party complete with bounce houses and games.
There will be food for everyone too. It's a great way to make sure no child goes hungry.
Food and Fun Details
All you have to do is show up at Bones Hooks Park - 2000 N Hughes St. at 1pm. You won't miss seeing all the kids having fun and bouncing around. You can grab lunch. They will even be providing bags for kids to take home and help with food until the next day.
All week long they will be at Bones Hooks park making sure that the kiddos eat each and every day. They will be handing out food at 11am each day. They will be at the park until 3pm.
Tremaine and his helpers will then make sure food is brought to other area parks - Mary Hazel Park, San Jacinto and even South Lawn to make sure those area kids also have food.
This is a great thing happening in our community. Kudos to Tremaine and Shi Lee's for making sure no child goes hungry.
