Canyon to Host Autumn Street Fest
Even though the calendar does not say it officially yet we can't help but be in the mood for anything fall. We have pumpkin items on the menu and in the stores. Football is back in action. We are ready to get out and enjoy the cooler temperatures, at some point.
That is why Canyon wants to make sure to welcome fall in a big way. They will be hosting their Autumn Street Fest. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 25th. This will be happening from 8am - 12p on the Square in Canyon.
This will be the official last day for the Canyon Farmers Market. So the last chance to get those great veggies and home made crafts.
There will also be pumpkins for the kiddos. The first one hundred will get their very own to bring home. Boy Scout Troop #12 will also have pumpkins for sale. Oh and don't forget the fun activity that Canyon Main Street will be ready to show you using your pumpkins. You don't want to miss the fun.
Don't miss out on the pet parade. That will be a site to see. You can even get your pet involved. You can get them registered HERE. If you think you have the prettiest pooch and want to show them off this will be your chance. The parade will kick off at 9am and will continue until 10am.
If you are looking to add to your family you may be able to find your furr-ever friend during pet adoptions. Both Gracie's Project and Panhandle Paws of Hope will have some adorable dogs for you to add to your family.
So as you are filling up those calendars with fun fall activities this may be one your family will all be happy to attend.
