Chicago’s Field Museum Crowned America’s Best Restroom [VIDEO]
Chicago’s Field Museum isn’t just the home to many wonders of the natural world — it also features some award-winning restrooms. Perhaps it’s time for the museum to host an exhibit of porcelain thrones.
The museum’s first-floor restrooms recently won the 2011 America’s Best Restroom Award, which is apparently a real thing. The winner is determined by a public restroom’s overall hygiene, style, public accessibility and useability. (Ewww!)
The bathrooms, which include domed ceilngs, toilets for tots and a separate nursing room, are reportedly cleaned every hour. Good thing, since the museum boasts up to 12,000 visitors each day. Check out a report on America’s best john, featuring some wonderfully atrocious puns, below.
